Favourite minor character and why!?
OK so this is a toss up between two, either Firenze the centaur or Olivander.
I like how Firenze isn’t afraid to stray from his pack to help Dumbledore. Firenze always sees the best in people, I do not know if situations change with him and his pack but they haven’t yet with me. He does have loyalty to his pack, but he also knows when others need help and isn’t afraid to go and help regardless of the consequences that may face him.
This is purely based on the films, he instilled so much magic, fun and excitement into the first film for me personally. My son loves the scene where he gets his wand for the first time. His voice is magical and I love him.
The wand chooses the Wizard my friend.
My favourite Villain and why!?
So I am going to base this on what I have read so far (Half Blood Prince) but my answer could be influenced by knowing the ending already, although I do not think so. But I’m going to have to say Prof. Snape, I know he does turn out to be a “goodie” BUT I loved him while he was the Villain we all thought he was and my love just grew when that wasn’t the case. I love how Harry’s famous status does not and has never affected how he treats Harry. He’s the only one that has never tolerated any of his lies and cheek. Although he’s miserable he’s made me laugh in EVERY book. He’s the oddball, he’s dark mysterious and a loner. I love Severs. ❤
My favourite student and why!?
Neville Longbottom. I absolutely adore Neville, he is such a misunderstood character, he is far braver than people think and he’s funny. The lack of confidence makes me want to grab him scruff up his hair kiss his forehead and hug him let him know he has the ability to achieve. He has been through ALOT with his parents and it makes me love his character more. He is also constantly bring reminded how he does not live up to his parents reputation, which is unfair because people seem to forget he is his own person. He really does not have the ability to seem himself as bring brave… Come on the boy fought in the battle in the department of mysteries and he destroyed the final horcrux also do not forget he stood up to voldermort and refused his offer to join the death Eater. He’s simply amazing. ❤
I’m back. I’ve missed all my little blogging buddies terribly, but I’m back forever, well.. Until my Internet goes again!!
Peace and love guys. ❤
So I have finally finished my book and I must say it was incredible. Some scenes I found long winded and was finding it hard to read on but the end… The last couple of chapters I welled up to the point I couldn’t read any more, I had to take a break and wipe my eyes. Sirius why Sirius, we need him…
The book really hit me hard when it came to Sirius’s death, I really had to fight the tears, and again when Dumbledore was telling Harry what he should have told him 5 years ago… Again fighting the tears… And finally when Harry opened the two way mirror frof Sirius my heart wrenched and he was calling him… I don’t understand why that was not in the film, what a way to want to gran harry and hold him.
How has Harry Potter changed your life or influenced your decision making.
So the first way it has helped me is with my son. He is such a Gryffindor, fearless, Brave, sometimes arrogant, he’s a prankster, but he is incredible smart and funny. He also has a speech delay, which if I’m totally honest, it has been a huge set back for me. I love my son to Pluto and back and a couple more times but you go to bed feeling useless and wake up expecting another day of uselessness because you CANNOT understand them. They’re trying to converse with you and it is so frustrating because you DO NOT know what they are saying but they know. Harry Potter has helped me overcome this because now I know it’s only parceltongue, it may seem silly to you BUT I’ve blamed myself for three years. So it’s a bight weight lifted off my shoulders. Also his speech has come on fantastic, ALOT more people can understand him now and I put this down to nighttime reading, we always read Harry Potter before bed, or Dr Suess.
Harry Potter has solidified friendships with some very amazing people I know. My oldest friend who I have known for 20 years, is also a Harry Potter fan this has made our friendship even stronger we have yet ANOTHER interest. She is also a hufflepuff like myself and both of our partners are Gryffindors. It’s mental, but I love my little potterfamily.
There is so many more reason but I’m running out of WiFi time down my mum’s. So finally since blogging I have met some amazing people taken different looks and different outlooks on Harry Potter from there point of view. So I want to thank you all for following my blog, liking, commenting and just being incredible. ❤❤
If you could choose elder wand, cloak or stone of resurrection what would you choose!?
So this answer is nothing to do with the films that I have seen. But I would love the invisibility cloak,
purely because I would love to sneak up and scare people, or sneak around without anyone seeing me, or listen in on conversations . Stupid reasons I know BUT theyre all true. Who wouldn’t take up the chance at being invisible for the day. ❤
If I could learn a spell what spell would I choose.
Alohamora. I am forever loosing my keys, always getting locked out or having to lock myself in the flat and make sure I’ve got everything before my partner sets out to work. So alohamora would come in handy.
Soo I’m going to have to do a couple of blogs while I’m at my nans and stealing her WiFi because my Internet has literally just gone… But it’s the longest it’s ever lasted so I’m happy. ❤ so if you don’t hear from me I haven’t been eaten by a werewolf or captured by death eaters my Internet has simply left me. ❤
19 years later… Would you change how the book ended.
I can’t really answer this because I haven’t finished the books… But I will come back to it I promise. 👌
