Day 5 Potter Challenge.

Your chosen house team, are you happy with the house you belong too.

So my house is… Drum role please…
Hufflepuff.

I am super stoked to be apart of a Helga Hufflepuff’s house. Number 1 which is stupidly important to me, my best friend and God mother to my child also shares the same house, not that I needed confirmation on our similarities because I don’t but she’s very important to me and the mutual love for Harry Potter we share has brought us even closer (which I didn’t think was possible.)

Sorting hat’s song..

You might belong in Hufflepuff, where they are just and loyal, those patient hufflepuff are true and unafraid of toil.

This statement is me down to a tee, once you befriend me or are a part of my life unfortunately I will never leave you, I’m very loyal. Patience I can have but I will put my hands up and say I can loose it very quickly too, but who does eh.

Also from.what I’ve read so far Helga Hufflepuff seems to strike me as what us Muggles would say supports and promotes inclusively, equality and diversity. She was the only founder of Hogwarts that actually thought any Witch or Wizard had the right to attend Hogwarts… And this is me anyone and everyone has the right to do and flourish as best as they can and do what they feel they are capable of doing. You go Helga!!!

Hufflepuff’s element is earth, hence Prof. sprout being head of house, (me and her would get on fab.) but I find myself a very earthy almost modern day hippy, if I could choose an element I would earth… 🌍 the yellow resembles wheat while the black resembles soil. New fact thought I’d throw it in.

My favourite character is a hufflepuff, hence the name.. Nymphadora Tonks. She is me, clumsy Forever changing her appearance and falls in love with a gryffindor. (my partner is a Gryffindor, and he’s ALOT like Lupin, he also becomes a werewolf once a month too.)

Hufflepuffs have produced the least amount of dark wizards in comparison to the other houses. Yay go Team!!

Jk Rowling recently told a fan who tweeted her in regards to prejudice against Hufflepuff’s… That We should pity the people who do not understand the mystique of the badger.. And that I Shall do proudly..

On Harry Potter: Beyond the PageJ.K. Rowling had this to say about Hufflepuff House…“This may surprise people, but it is the truth…In many, many ways, Hufflepuff is my favourite House. Here’s my reasoning, bear with me. (Again, I don’t want to spoil things too much for people who haven’t read the whole series, so I’m going to say what I’m about to say quite carefully). There comes a point in the final book where each House has the choice whether or not to rise to a certain challenge, and that’s everyone in the House. The Slytherins, for reasons that are understandable, decide they’d rather not play. The Ravenclaws, some decide they will, some decide they won’t. The Hufflepuffs, virtually to a person, stay, as do the Gryffindors. Now, the Gryffindors comprise a lot of foolhardy and show-offy people, that’s just the way it is, I’m a Gryffindor, I’m allowed to say it. You know, there’s bravery, and there’s also showboating, and sometimes the two go together. The Hufflepuffs stayed for a different reason; they weren’t trying to show off, they weren’t being reckless, that’s the essence of Hufflepuff House. Now my oldest child (my daughter, Jessica) said something very profound to me, not very many days ago, actually, she said to me –and she, by the way, was not sorted into Hufflepuff House– but, she said to me, ‘I think we should all want to be Hufflepuffs.’ I can only say to you, that I would not be at all disappointed to be sorted into Hufflepuff House.

(this above statement was copied from wikia.)

I am A proud hufflepuff.
Hufflepuff for life.

  1. Don’t judge — I’m a Slytherin. Pottermore placed me in Slytherin, and honestly, I pretty much knew from the get-go that it is where I belong. It’s almost a tie with Ravenclaw really, but when you get down to it, I’m quite a competitive person, and it’s that quality that drives my desire to learn. In spite of the negative connotations, I’m extremely happy to be a Slytherin, and frankly, the reputation of being the “evil” house is blatantly unfair. According to Pottermore, Merlin was a Slytherin, and he also promoted cooperation between wizards and muggles. It was his ambition that made him a Slytherin, not a tendency towards evil. My own ambition has driven me to do well in school, in sports, and in every job I have ever had, and because of that, my life is pretty good right now.

    1. Awwww I love that. Nothing wrong with being competitive at all. Pottermore also placed me. And I’m a typical Hufflepuff so I’m open to all houses and people good and bad, everyone has good and bad qualities. X
